We'd love to introduce you to our new Head Chef, Daniel. With a love for simple, Mediterranean-inspired cooking, his approach to food is all about letting great ingredients shine.
To get to know Daniel a little better, we asked him a few quick questions, from where his love of food began to what he’s cooking (and eating) right now.
How did you get into cooking?
I grew up cooking a lot at home with my mum, that's where my love for food started.
If you weren't a chef, what would you be doing?
Probably gardening...or accounting or IT.
Favourite dish on the Red Hill Estate menu right now?
Woodfired bread with olives...and honestly any of the pizzas.
Favourite place in the world to eat?
Anywhere along the coastal Mediterranean.
One ingredient you can't live without?
Bacon.
