Nonno Knows Montepulciano
2022 Montepulciano
Description
Grown on Cool Climate hills, this vintage was cropped to be quite low yielding to ensure premium fruit. A rich palate of blackberry, plum, boysenberry and hints of dark chocolate. The tannins are slight and silky with a subtle spice finish.
Born in Torino di Sangro, Italy, our Grandfather Domenico Fabrizio grew up with a love for wine as he watched his father make it in their family home. Nonno immigrated to Australia in 1951, a 20 year old man excited for his new life. He brought the passion for winemaking with him and this has flowed through our family’s veins for three generations. This label and the Italian varieties we make are dedicated to our beautiful Nonno.
