xMerricks Grove Pinot Gris
2022 Pinot Gris
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria
Description
Pure varietal elements of ripe nashi pear, apple and orange flower blossom layered on a soft citrus backbone. The luscious nature of this wine is shaped by a clean line of acidity and supported by a rich texture and persistence of flavours achieved by partial fermentation using indigenous yeasts with a touch of barrel stirred lees – this brings an elegant cashew creaminess through the centre palate that finishes with notes of zippy honey.
