I’ve been talking about doing something big all year to celebrate Red Hill Estate’s 30th Birthday, and gee whiz I’ve finally gone and done it!

In conjunction with Scarlett Mac events (the team behind Peninsula Vinehop Festival), Red Hill Estate proudly presents WINEFOLK on Saturday 7th December at The Briars, Mount Martha.

Winefolk is a celebration of Australian music, chilled summer vibes, top-notch wine, beer, cider and delicious food. A perfect early-summer afternoon, set in bushland not far from our home on the stunning Mornington Peninsula.

The Red Hill Estate wine range has been created to be enjoyed. Simple. No need for pretentious wine-wank – these are wines that straight up taste good and you will enjoy drinking them (even if I do say so myself…and why wouldn’t I?). What else do you need? We’ve brought some of the Peninsula’s best beer and cider brands along for the ride too, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We’re doing our best to respect the beautiful surrounds of the Briars by being sustainable, so you’ll have your very own Winefolk branded plastic glass (on a lanyard) for the day and all of the beers/ciders will be sold in recyclable cans.

I’ll be honest, the process of selecting our inaugural music line-up was a tough one. There’s so many great Aussie music acts, and only one Winefolk…

For over a decade The Cat Empire have been known far and wide as one of the world’s greatest party bands, so we’re rapt to have them as our headline act at Winefolk 2019. We’ve secured The Beautiful Girls in one of their only shows for the next 12 months. Ash Grunwald is one of Australia’s most iconic Blues musicians. Cookin’ on 3 Burners will bring the funk and soul. And Sun Salute round us out with a nice wholesome brew of Reggae, Hip Hop and Funky Roots music.

Ready for a day of wine, beer, food, good times and live music? Of course you are! Grab your mates and join us at Winefolk.
