This month in the vineyard...
All the vine cuttings are swept out from under the vines and mowed over. The weather at this time of year is critical: the warmer and calmer the better. Weed control and spraying against mildews begins for the growing season and shoot thinning begins to ensure light and airflow into the canopy as it matures.
